Created in 1993, the Fiorentino Scoppa Foundation is a private foundation recognized by the Italian private law. It has been acknowledged by the Calabria Region Board with the primary aim of

promoting and executing educational, charitable, moral and religious activities. Until today, the Foundation dedicated its efforts towards the implementation of educational activities for the people belonging to the poorest part of the population.
The story of the Fiorentino Scoppa Foundation lies in the roots of the South of Italy, an area which has always been characterized by complex economic conditions coupled with human resources struggling to find their own vital space.

The Fiorentino Scoppa Foundation scope is, by definition, not geographically bounded, but foremost addressed to the local territory. The growth of the Foundation is directed, especially in the short-medium period, towards the implementation of activities belonging to the no-profit sector therefore encouraging the social dimension of the economy.

The Fiorentina Scoppa Foundation goals leverage on history by favoring highly sustainable development projects.

The Fiorentino Scoppa Foundation is located in Catanzaro (CZ), in the historic archbishop’s palace.

The office is fully equipped to:

- Conduct primary executive activities;
- Manage administrative activities;
- Manage communications activities;
- Fulfill educational and requalification activities.

The Foundation avails of another operative office in the city of Rome.
